At 12.40 P.M. at midday of 1st April, in the Lecture Hall, all teachers from Senior High Department held staff meeting, during which Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong delivered a keynote speech. Also, Director Xu Haihong, Director Xu Zuitai and Director Cao Siqing attended the conference.
To begin with, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong presented a series of data concerning teaching& management in Senior High Department recently.
Other than that, he summarized issues with respect to teaching& research, routine management and headteachers’ moral education. He pointed out that since the new semester, with all teachers’ joint efforts, Senior High Section achieved tangible progress in various aspects. In the meantime, Principal Assistant Qian indicated details and proposed reform requirements regarding lesson preparation, homework inspection, 1st monthly examination proposition, invigilation, examination papers marking in addition to student supervision.
Furthermore, Principal Assistant Qian emphasized some points& suggestions in the second round test preparation program of Grade 12, demanding that all Grade 12 teachers should make preparations scientifically, analyze& solve problems existing in students’ second municipal practice test by avoiding taking tests& exercises either too early or too much. Instead, teachers were supposed to lay emphasis on monographic study and special session interpretation.
In summary, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong required that all teachers should possess high sense of responsibility& sense of mission, love education& jobs ardently, prepare each lesson earnestly, perform teaching diligently to promote Senior High Division’s various work onto a new level.
